Whenever I change the settings of a brush, like intensity, alpha and so on, is there a way to make zbrush always remember the current state until I manually reset it? Instead of auto resetting every brush every time zbrush starts up. Thanks.
Oh and one more thing. After I opening some project from the lightbox, can I go back to the startup doc without shutting down and restarting zbrush? I tried new document, but the setup of the project I opened stays there, like background gradient range, grid floor.
Hello @k666
You can save out a variant of any brush using Brush > Save As, and then load it as needed. Most custom content can and should be saved to Lightbox for situational usage. If there is a brush you will be using every single session, you can save it to the program startup data to load with the program, but you should do this sparingly for performance reasons.
Preferences> Init Zbrush.

Guess I’ll have to save every single brush to change their default intensity then. Thank you so much for answering my questions!
Have you considered simply altering the pressure sensitivity on your tablet?
