Is there a way to group/merge polygroups permanently?

WHenever i group polygroups into single colour, and then use ZRemesher they are splited again. Is there a way to group them permanently? Turning them into single piece of geometry, removing any parts that are inside the other?

I have been playing around while learning the basics of the program and the nose of the helmet got real wierd and was hard to work on it anymore, so i have extracted shape, scaled it up and i would like to merge it with the rest of helmet so i can continue shaping and sculpting etc. I dont need it as separate polygroup anymore, is there a way to merge them permanently?

Since you’re retopologizing, you could use dynamesh first, which should combine the meshes (provided the right polygroup toggle setting). Then use zremesher on that.

It worked!!! Thanks so much! This forum definitely need some “+” or other form of increasing other peoples reputation! It could take me like 3 days (or even much more!) untill i woudl chew on that enough to find solution. And becouse of your help I can carry on to the next basic thing to start learning in zbrush  Thanks again!
