I’m trying to do more with fiber mesh, however a few things are giving me some grief. AFter I have a hair system set up with the modifiers and colors I want. When I hit accept and have a fiber mesh subtool, I can’t seem to move the bottom of the hair at all. IS this even possible?
Also when I use the groom brush1 it pushes into the hair and doesn’t really comb the hair like a comb would. The lengthen brush seems to be the closes to it but comb would be nice to use.
If it’s a subtool, you can move it. The base may be masked, did you check for and clear masking?
Yes no mask, and the move tools still does not move the roots.
I tried using mask by fibers and fiberunmask but the roots are still well rooted. This makes adjusting the base impossible.
The trick to move the roots lie in the Brush Palette. Under Brush Palette go to Auto masking and turn off Auto Mask Fibermesh. This will allow you to move the root and hair. For combing the hair try using the Groom long hair brush. Hope this helps.
