is shrinkwrap possible?

hi there

is it possible to make shrinkwrap in zb like zac petroc(gnomon dvd´s) used it in maya?.. that means if u have, lets say an old high poly object with bad topo and u made a new one with better topo and some fixes but u wont spend the time for the same high poly model(ling part) u could copy the shape from one object to the “new” one. would be great.

This sounds like a feature of the next version of Zbrush, for an idea of a release date check http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=28498

To see some videos of the process you can check http://pixologic.com/zbrush/media_links/movies2.html

I’ve not heard of any shrink wrap facility, maybe someone else knows of this.

Zbrush 2.5 will be a free update to all registered users of Zbrush.

well i dont see any feature in the new version that represents “shrinkwrap”. i think that u mean that “topo” thingie, but thats not shrinkwrap.

the correct description for shrinkwrap is “it projects one shape onto another”

well i see that my thread was moved. maybe i was not precise enough. i was asking if somone could make a zscript or if this is possible.i know that zb doesnt have a function like that.
