Is it possible to update thumbnail previews for projects?

Hi all,

This isn’t a biggie, but I’m sort of sure it’s possible, so I thought I’d ask anyway.
How are the thumbnails for projects in lightbox generated?
I’d like to be able to store them myself, by moving the model into place and taking a snapshot as it were. At the moment it seems to be generated randomly, so I have models upside down, rotated weirdly, zoomed in too much, etc. Any advice would be appreciated so I can just make them that bit clearer to myself before opening them.

Cheers!

I’ve not found a way that is 100% reliable. The best results I’ve got are using Image Plane to load a square image behind the model (in Edit mode). ZBrush will then crop to the edges of the image … mostly. You can easily clear the image on reloading the project using Ctrl+N.

Also note that Lightbox will only refresh its thumbnails after restarting ZBrush.

Ah that’s a shame. Thanks Marcus, appreciate the reply!
