Is it possible to pose my character temporarily?

I’m making a game-ready character, but in the art reference sheet there is no A or T pose I can use- the only art referencesheet available shows the character in quite a dynamic pose. The character also has exaggerated proportions, so I can’t just use references of normal humans.

I would like to ‘check’ how my character looks if I pose her, go back to the A- pose I’m doing, make some adjustments, go to the pose again and check the updates look ok, go back to the A-pose to make more adjustments etc.

Is there a function similar to this? Or some steps I could take to make my A-pose character look as close as possible to that dynamic posed character?

Hi @Luulaalaa_A ,

3D layers could be used for this, but it depends on what you mean by “Making Changes” to the mesh. The presence of 3D layers locks you to your present topology. You can make sculptural changes to the form, but cannot change the topology or point order.

If you are at a stage where your topology will remain stable, then you could pose your mesh on an active layer in recoding mode, then toggle that layer on or off to switch between the posed version and the neutral pose.
