Is it possible to customize the shortcut to sculpting brushes.(not using hotkey)

In Zbrush 4, B-C-A was the clay brush
In R2, its clip circle.

I’ve searched everywhere, couldn’t find a solution. Is it possible to customize a 3 button shortcut for each brush not using a hotkey(Ctr+Alt+button)?

nope

Nothing?. Oh well, I guess I have to get used to the new shortcuts.

Yes this is possible. Here is what you have to do.

Click B to bring up the brush palette.
Then click the letter that you want to narrow down too, in this example click C.
With C clicked all you will see is the brushes that start with C. This is when you will see the next letter that selects the brush.
At this point you can hold CTRL+ALT to change the shortcut to whatever you want by just clicking on the brush and then click your new shortcut.

NOTE:

Keep in mind that when you do this ZBrush automatically replace the shortcut of another brush if you select a shortcut that is already assigned to another brush.

It was Ctrl+alt then you click a button all along(slaps forehead). Thanks gabo.

I have been trying multiple times to follow the directions for assigning hotkeys to the brushes, but it will not work for me. I simply want to assign a number to four brushes: 1. Standard, 2. Move, 3. Clay brush, 4. Trim Dynamic, but nothing I do changes the default.

I am using PC ZB4R3

It’s working for me, PC ZB4R3. Are you releasing the CTRL+ALT before you click on the number key that you are assigning to be the hotkey?
