Is it normal that my alpha mask deforms after using a move tool?

I’m new to this program so I’m not sure if it’s just a bug or if I’m using the program wrong but I tried to sculpt a little something and used the move tool a few time here and there but when I used my alpha mask to get special shape
The mask i got was totally deformed ??

Like instead of my usual square I import I got a totally deformed… Something
And not matte what I did the shape of my alpha mask apparently synced with the deformation of the moving tool…

Is there a way to turn that off ?

Hi @Zeveriin ,

It would be useful here if you documented whatever you’re experiencing with images so we can get a better idea of what you’re talking about.

However, if you’re referring to the soft deformation effect from the Gizmo Manipulator, this is controlled by the focal shift setting for the active Transpose brush (active when Gizmo mode is active.) Values of -100 (the default) will affect the entire mesh uniformly. Values greater than this will only partially affect the mesh. The falloff is controlled by the focal shift setting, and radiates from the center of the manipulator.
