Is it normal for the trial to be buggy?

I’d like to use Zbrush in the future but I’ve download the trial and have run into a few problems:

1.When I double click over the brush icon on the left side the current brush image flickers. It will do it a couple times in a row. Quit. And repeat.

I’m not really that worried about that though.

And 2.The first time I clicked on render it messed up. I don’t remember what it did but I think when I clicked on the tab and the list came up it was slow and it now says:

Cursor:Preview
Best:Render
Fast:Flat

It was different before.

And one last thing. I noticed the version is R3. Does that mean it’s a test version?. If so this was a dumb question. Lol.

My guess is that the bugs you’re experiencing are due to the fact that it’s a pirated copy. There is no trial of ZBrush 3.5 at this time – R3 or otherwise.

Please uninstall what you’ve got. (You should probably do a virus scan as well, since they probably gave you a few “presents”.) Then install the real trial from here: http://www.pixologic.com/zbrush/trial/

The trial I got was from the website. Since the latest version is 3.5 R3 I assumed that was what is.

Also:My current computer is a Gateway MD2614U Laptop. I plan on getting a more powerful Desktop before I buy Zbrush.

And one last thing:The card I plan on getting for my next computer is the Geforce GTS 250 1GB. Anyone know of any bugs between that and Zbrush?.
