is it a bug , or am I being an idiot ...

a question about zbrush 4 transpose … I came across a weird behavior of transpose … I wanted to do a pose by using transpose on multiple layers … but when I create my layer and then use transpose , the mesh get totally messed up with vertex flying all over … , tried to hack it by creating a morph target from the transpose and then deleting the layer and creating a new one while morphing to the morph target … I got it working once , don’t even know how … but the rest of my tries got the same messed up mesh …

my intent was to use transpose on layers and then use those layers to create a MDD file with the timeline … not working … ohhh and transpose works fine when not using layers …

one way to hack this would be using transpose right away using alpha masking but … can’t position the action line with enough accuracy … ( some way to snap them to the mesh and then save their position would be great, almost like a mini rigging system )

was thinking about using MDD animation + displacement maps to avoid skinning ; this way I would have had total control over my mesh deformation , since they would be based on zbrush sculpting layers … no more problems with bends and all and the ability to sculpt muscles deforming …

if anyone has a clue …
