Inversed Normals on Viewport

Hi.

Somehow after remeshing the new mesh appears with his normals inverted. Exporting it is ok, his face normals are fine, is just a zbrush viewport thing I guess.

Any ideas?

Hey there. Polygon normals can inadvertently become flipped for various reasons. Couple things:

  1. In Tool > Display Properties, first make sure that “double” is not enabled. When not enabled, zbrush will only display a surface in the polygon’s normal direction and nothing on the other. In this way you’ll be able to see any spots where the normals are facing different directions.

  2. In the same menu, right next to that is the “Flip” button. If you do find that some of your normals are facing the wrong way, hide all but those polygons and press this. If your entire mesh is flipped, then hide nothing before pressing it.

If it is just a glitch with your viewport, try changing materials.
