Interpolate question (beginner)

Heya!

When using interpolate together with home/target stager - is there a way to adjust the distance between the instances afterwards or interactively?

Or do you guys use any other kind of modifier for that? (To spread them out or just manipulate them uniformly)

Cheers
Nick

Hello @OXE

Well, once created the interpolated meshes are fully editable meshes, so you can adjust the placement of all of them individually. It may be useful to perform a Tool> Polygroups> Autogroups action in order to assign all of the instances their own polygroups, which will make selecting them individually easier.

To adjust the spacing uniformly, it may be easier to simply Ctrl-Z and adjust the placement of your target stage to generate your meshes at the desired intervals.

If you’d like more sophisticated control options for this, the ArrayMesh feature might be a better fit for what you want to do.

Good luck!

Thank you very much SPYNDEL!
