Internal Error Dialog pop up

Zbrushcore2018 error pic.JPG Hello, I get this dialog box pop up before Zbrushcore 2018 crashes. It happens when using the Dynamesh.
It says to email support.
Thanks,George

What do I need to do to correct this?

We’re aware of this problem and are looking into it. In the meantime, reducing the Dynamesh resolution and/or the size of your model may help.

Any luck on the fix?
George

Hi,

Yes, the quickest way is probably to download again through https://pixologic.com/my-licenses/ and install again. No need to deactivate your license but uninstall the previous install first. Make sure you copy any personal files first!

Alternatively submit a ticket to Pixologic Support.

I’m also getting repeated crashes with the “Line 731” error. All I am using is the Clay Buildup brush, but somehow it is ripping holes in the mesh that I cannot see. When I reDynamesh the model, it crashes. I’ve tried saving after each successful reDynamesh and only performing a few strokes of Clay Buildup in between reDynamesh attempts, but I can’t figure out when it is going wrong.
I tried turning on Backface Masking, as when I wrapped around a corner with the Clay Buildup brush it wouldn’t stretch and rip the mesh in weird ways. It looked great, but when I reDynameshed it still crashed.
All I can figure out is if the brush size is larger than the feature you are sculpting on, it will rip holes in the mesh. This error message has also popped up after I used the Move brush to stretch out a feature a little bit.
This is pretty weak performance, does the full Zbrush program also behave like this?

No that’s not typical, and ZBrush does not give those errors. You likely have a corrupt installation and should submit a ticket to Support.

I have the same problem. I reinstalled the program. Nothing helped. Is there a maximum dynamesh per subtool, zbrush core can handle? I can only dynamesh until some point, above that the program crashes. The problem is the details are gone in this maximum point  Please reply, it makes my work miserable…
