Installer doesn't run when I try to install keyshot for MACOSX

Hello guys i have finally recieved the link for the keyshot bridge and the code for keyshot for mac. but there is no link to download the keyshot for Zbrush so i went on the keyshot website
and i have downloaded the keyshot for mac.
After once it was downloaded, I tried to open the installer but I received each time I tried an error message that tells me the installer is damaged (see screenshot below)

Has anyone here the same issues ?
that is a little bit frustrating to be close but just close ^^…

I ran into the same thing installing on windows. I had to right click the install file and run as administrator. I think mac has an equivalent. Also after much frustration. I read the Keyshot manual and found out in order to run on two machines you have to deactivate the license on the active machine then activate it on the other one using the serial.

finally i have managed to install after i have fixed the permissions with Onyx but now i am stuck.
first, there was no “.lic” after the licence file of keyshot that we download, so i added it.
It worked for Keyshot
But once I want to use the bridge on Zbrush, he ask me to put the liscence but he doesn’t recognize any of the files with or without “.lic”

so i am stuck

any advice??? that will be more than appreciated
the explanations on the emails for installing the product keyshot for mac and the bridge are not really clear.

Why aren’t you using the cd that came with your system to fix permission issues? If you don’t have the cd you can make a bootable OSX flash drive with the system tools on it - just download OSX Mavericks and check online on making a bootable flash drive version.

OK so my issue seems to be with the licence file for Keyshot bridge…

I downloaded it from the link on pixologic.com and got a file through but just a plain file “license_KeyShot” with no “.lic” or anything so with the keyshot installer searches for the file it does not find the licence file and therefore doesn’t activate

I downloaded it twice and I even put .lic manually but the installer does not seem to see it on the file page.

Solved

I worked it out the file reads as a .zlic
so i manually added .zlic and all systems go!

so just to be clear the file arrived as license_KeyShot and I added .zlic so the working file was

license_KeyShot.zlic

Thanks for the solution with the .zlic that works now.
i used onyx because that not seems too tricky. I am not good about things like that so a bootable osx flash drive is like ‘chinese language’ for me i understand nothing on that. But thanks for the infos, I will dig on this way next time.
