Insert Mesh Object Gets Distorted When Rotated

Hi.

I have been experimenting with InsertMesh, and have no problem getting it to work. However, sometimes when I try to rotate the InsertMesh to line it up to the object I will be fusing it to, It wrecks the InsertMesh object. In the image, what you see what was once a flat sided cube, is now all dented-up after a simple rotation.Insert Mesh Distortion.jpg

What is interesting is that it looked like there was some left over gray-masking in various spots on the surface, so that when I rotated it, it caused the problem. So I eliminated the mask and everything went fine. So apparently, any previous masking can get copied over to an object when it is copied over as an InsertMesh. If I have this right, is there a way to delete all masking on objects quickly?

Ctrl/drag on the canvas to clear masking.
