Insert mesh-curve: how could I UV unwrap so that each element share UV space.

I try to explain the title better: so i have an insert mesh brush in curve mode (Weld + stretch). The base mesh is low poly, and it’s fine that way. When it comes to uv mapping I want each element to share uv space (overlapping uvs).
I guesss it can not be done in Zbrush… as far as I know insert mesh brushes can’t have uvs, though it would be very nice… but anyway, i1m looking for tips to do it possibly in external apps (Blender for example).

Thanks

spilt the inserted mesh into it’s own subtool, then unwrap, then merge it back with “UV” enabled in the merge palette.

Thanks, but I1m not sure we are tlaking about the same thing :).

See this picture(not mine, just demonstration):

The insert mesh would be an individual track piece. I draw the whole thing in curve mode. What i1d like to do somehow is to all the track pieces share uv space (since they are the same mesh used many times).

i see what you mean. they are identical so why use additional UVs if they could all use the same one.

like more than one iteration of the same UV set.

i wouldn’t know if that’s possible. it would be nice.
