This is my first image post, anyway can anyone tell me why light is showing up from inside the mouth, the mouth geometry is a closed bag inside.
How you made this great model? in ZB? or other program?
Have you press in the tool panel double?
When you render the model was active the ztool with other object?
Some one them could be the cause…
Try to make another model more simple all in ZB and ndrerecord the session and send the script to the forum to see what ou were doing¡ is an easy way.
Thanks for your attention
Andreseloy
How many lights are you using? And what type of light settings. Those will be good places to also start in addition to what Andresloy said. The light type you used could be acting differently with the material settings maybe? Radial settings? Or one of your lights is aimed to its mouth? Type of shadow settings? or I could be barking up the wrong tree…lol…there are lighting masters on the forum for sure that hopefully will chime in with a possible solution. You maybe able to get rid of part of that with playing with the Adjustments under the Render pallette. Try also changing the color of the default white fog to black fog before rendering…just things to try and other areas to look at…good pic so far though. Look forward to hearing your end resolve on the situation.

Sorry i didnt respond earlier i’m fighting off food poisioning.
I did figure out the problem however.
andreseloy: this was originally a zphere head that i rebuilt in silo for better topology to use as a basic head, i’ve already made several faces from this mesh. pressing double sided didnt seem to make any difference. and this was a simple model which only took about 40min once i already had the base mesh.
Ron: I was using 6 lights, for the front light i was using pixolatorsoftshadows light and then 5 sun lights with radial off for the rim effect(first time i’ve done this).
anyway the problem seemed to be in the light settings themselves my shadow intensity and length numbers were too low, i also turned off zmode, once i did this the mouth and inner eyelids became dark. Thank you both for your suggestions which i did check first, i’m still new to rendering and the light settings etc. etc.
