Informative page on Scene Composition

I was just browsing the web and came upon this page. I thought it might be of use to someone…it mainly deals with the viewers eye movements and the art of scene composition. He also has a very nice site too.

Interesting tidbits. Sortofa scientific art lesson, combined.

And yes, my eyes did hurt trying to disprove that I couldn’t stare at the ordered field of dots for long…

thanks for the lesson. The phenom of “saccades” helps me. (Look at how many short trips a typical viewer made over each eye-- black tangles!)

I can understand why one boss was so hard on me-- “Above all else, get the eyes correct! We are wired from birth to make eye contact! Even a good rendering looks false if the eyes are off.”

haha-- he was critiquing a Disney character at the time, so I thought he was anal.

…the guy that you find is a legend of the Computer Graphic world
