We have made a new plugin that adds incremental save to ZBrush, for project and tools.
We did it because we saw it in many forums of ZBrush being requested. We think this can help many people.
It also has some other extra goodies, and also buttons in different sizes so you can put the incremental save function in your custom interface anywhere you like.
Incremental save allows you to save your file every time you press the button or use a hotkey, with a number appended at the end. This way you can do backups quickly and just when you like, in a same folder. It doesn’t interrupt your workflow and reduces the possibilities of corrupt files.
You can decide to save history or not with the files, independently from the general ZBrush setting.
This plugin you can do the backups in the folder you choose, and trigger them at will in any moment, just with a button click or hotkey.
This plugin makes it possible to do it at your will with ease, instead of having to do it by hand, and also lets you decide to save or not history, or remember the file names for next time you open your project.
With the first save, you are asked the folder, then the next presses make a copy of your work. If you want to change the folder or name, you can restart it.
It works with ZBrush 2019 and 2021.
