Is this a known bug? I import a texture that is a PSD and it just shows as white? I have to convert and import a jpg to get it working which is a bit of a pain 
I’ve not heard of this before and it works fine for me. What OS are you using?
Hi Marcus. win 10. There are some psds that work fine and ones that I have just saved are apearing blank. Using the latest version of photoshop so not sure what the problem might be.
Can you share a PSD that comes in blank?
Hey marcus, I just tried the psd after opening zbrush just now and it sems to work fine. Not sure if this was some sort of temporary glitch after running the app for a long time? Will see if it happens again and report it here. Cheers
Hey all, quick update on this. PSDs are still coming out blank/white only if they have layers. Does Zbrush have an issue with opening PSDs that are not flattened?
PSD saved with “maximize compatibility” ZBrush opening normally, with or without layers.
If that’s not checked they are white in zbrush, even with only one layer.
Tested on ZBr7 x64, win 7.
That way saved (maximize compatibility) PSD files are bigger (in MB or even GB :D) so i’m not using that.
Didn’t have any problems with plugins ZBr <-> PS
