import obj with texture

Hi ,
So happy that zbrushcore can now import obj with textures.
Question is, how is it done?

ZBrushCore doesn’t support textures applied to meshes. What you can do is import polypaint in OBJ files (exported from ZBrush) or STL files.

You can also import a texture and then apply it as polypaint, provided your model has UVs:

  1. Import the OBJ by pressing Tool>Import and selecting the file. The OBJ must have UVs assigned.
  2. Press Texture>Import and import the image you want to use.
  3. You will probably need to press Texture>Flip V to flip the map vertically.
  4. With the image selected in the Texture palette, press Color>FillObject.
