Hey guys, I often like to work with multiple objects… so I use subtools a lot. the problem its a slow process to export and import them all… and I’d really like to know if there is a direct way I can import a whole bunch of boj’s and have them added directly to my subtool directory…
Any help??
oops, subtool master handles this
Ain’t it cool?
Hey Tim
I just picked up subtool master today and I’m trying to figure out how to save all my subtools at once and then reload them all at the same time. I read the tutorial but I must be lost?
Thanks for your help.

If you’re just saving, you use SubTool Master’s Save ZTool button. This saves your model as a ZTL with all parts. You’d later use the Tool palette’s Load Tool button to bring your model back in.
If you want to export your subtools, first make sure that they’re all at the desired subdivision level. Then just use SubTool Master’s Export button. Enter a file name. All subtools will be exported, with their names appended onto the file name that you typed.
To import multiple OBJ’s, import the base using Tool>Import. Then use SubTool Master’s Multi Append button. Just hold down the Ctrl key while you select multiple OBJ’s in the file selection window. They’ll all append to the current model.
Perfect! For some reason I thought it only saved the top tool and not the rest. Duh!
Thanks for your response, this is really going to help!
