Import FBX Model with blendshapes as a layer or merge 2 object for making layers

i have two meshes ( same topology) default and smile

i would like to merge them for making blendshape.

how to add “smile” model to the default model’s layer as a blendshape node with zscript or macro.

i can’t even do without macro and zscript.

zbrush make me to sculpt it on my hand.

first i imported fbx model which is included blendshapes. but zbrush importing fbx file without blendshape nodes !

is there any way to import blendshapes to zbrush as a layers of the object ?

thank you already

As you found, ZBrush does not support importing Blendshapes from FBX. You can do it by hand, using OBJs:

  1. With your model imported and selected, create a new Layer in the Layer palette. Record mode will be on.
  2. Press tool>Import and select the OBJ that you want to use as the Blendshap. It will be imported into the new Layer.

ho nice I didn’t know it was possible to do it that way. so i guess this is what the layer tools plugin you had posted some time ago is doing.
@marcus_civis can you post the layer tools plugin in useful macros Scripts 2021 thread, please ?
I can’t to retrieve the link where it was posted.
