I love architectural ornamentation and it makes me sad that modern architecture uses it so little.

Well done!

Greetings @MonacoFelice
could you please give us more info about the process you used to make this beautiful work?
did you create whole parts fully in ZBrush, or did you use Rhino and Imported to ZBrush to soften edges and to fix curves?
or did you use any kind of ready-ornament or 3D alpha?
Thanks in advance for your reply back.
this work is so fantastic eye catching.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

Yes, indeed, a pity that there are very few art in modern architecture …and also in furniture decorative elements are rarely used.

This panel was a decorative piece for custom-made furniture.

This work was created entirely in ZBrush. I never use Rhino for organic forms or any decor. I prefer to work on the model like a sculptor with a clay and not depend on the correct topology or splines.
Clients often provide their own references with ideas that they want to implement. Usually these are just photographs of furniture or architecture with decorative elements, which I adapt to the desired dimensions.
I use the image as a reference in ZBrush, draw a mask as a base shape, raise the height of the relief, and then gradually work through all the details.
