I'm noob! Bash my work!

Hey guys, I’ve been making a living as a ‘traditional’ sculptor for about 6 years now. I’m just starting to get into the digital stuff. I found this cool concept drawing on another site and thought I’d try to copy it in zbrush. Obviously there are things that are anatomically impossible in the drawing so I’m doing a little interperative anatomy. I did this with zbrush 3.0 and used zspheres. So give me the hardest crit you can on my working methods. Where do you see problems with the mesh or whatever?? Be as harsh as you want LOL thanks

ok ehren
i hope u return the favor .

the outfit is designed via old greek / western european fighters
mixed in with a little of sophitia from soul caliber influence .

personally i like long swords , so i hope you atleast look at the weapons from soul caliber / god of war / devil may cry for influence
because those guys are nuts when it comes to weaponary .

do u plan on [[ building ]] / filling it up or is this going to be a one time peice ??
somehow i see a snowwhite =disney= type female in the suit . but thats just me .

you will never be able to do that concept in zbrush, your base mesh isnt working already, also if you want to do mechanical stuff you need to learn even basics of box modeling and use some difrent softwere ;f Oh and try sopmthing more organic ;]
You wanted to be harsh ;D

It is completely possible in Zbrush, especially with the new features in 3.5R3, and its not even all that “mechanical”.

You’ll want to explore the following: How to create new toplogy, how to extract new surface shapes with topology, how to edit existing topology, the new trim and polish brushes, poly group and group loops, and edge creasing.

I recommend subtools. I also recommend using symmetry in a t pose, and transposing after most of the work is done. If your not wanting to do that, I would at least start with a well thought out zsphere model.

Really though, just look at where the legs connect to the body. Subtools.
