Welcome to ZBC,

The best way here is to comment on folks’ work or to show some of your own.

Have fun ZBrushing,

Welcome Greyboa,
You are in the right spot…
There is enough information on ZbrushCentral to last anyone
a lifetime. And lots of great people!

Hi Greyboa,

Zip files will open in a folder just by double-clicking on them. You can then copy the contents to the ZStartup/ZPlugs.

There are general plugin instructions here:

http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Plugin_Installation

And specific instructions for each plugin in the threads here:

HTH,

Hi Greyboa,

Up top there is a ZClassroom link on the left. You will find most answers there along with lots of helpful info. That and you will loose lots of sleep as it sinks in.

You should work through some tutorials to start. You can learn everything you need to here.

You will find lots of help here. It’s one of the things that makes ZBrush unique is the community. You will also see the work from the best modelers on the planet. Have a great time.

As far as .zip files and other similar compressed files, you can search the web a little for free software to unzip files or buy one. Some are self-extracting and you just double click them, others require a utility to unzip them. WinZip is a good one.

You might also want to look at CGTalk.

just getting used to this zbrush central. sorry for the late response. thank you very much for the advice… very helpful…matt
