Hi, I’m a Zbrush beginner and I’m seeing these little triangles stick out of my mesh and I don’t know how to resolve this. Thank you if you help me with this
Hi @Halima_M!
I’m guessing you used a brush with Sculptris Pro mode enabled on this mesh? I can’t see the topology super well, but it looks like this is the case.
I’ve noticed this happening now and then with Sculptris Pro mode. I don’t know why it happens, but just chalk it up to a limitation of the tool. That’s why its a good idea to periodically Dynamesh your mesh when working with those tools. Dynamesh will clean your mesh, eliminating stray points near the surface and closing any holes. It will also even out and redistribute the mesh topology that Sculptris Pro may have left problematically dense in certain areas.
Remember that the rapid topology-changing tools like Sculptris and Dynamesh are best used for establishing form at low to medium levels of detail, and that for the highest frequency detail sculpting you want to transition to a multiple subdivision level process.
