i was trying to create an eye and i got the sphere and everything goinbg but when i try to paint and it says do i want to switch modes then it does and then i painted the eye but then i couldnt spin it or anything. i think im doing something wrong but i dont know what. i just wanted to create an eyeball and add color and what not. please help.

It’s actually quite easy to create an eye. The main thing you do not understand is that everthing you use to create a mesh is called a tool. ZBrush is not Max, Maya or Xsi. When you change tools the tool that you were working with is flatened to the canvas and is no long 3d but if you look in the tools pallet it’s still there as a 3d object you need only draw it on the screen again. No tool is ever really lost untill you restart or re-initalize zbrush. This software take some getting used to, and you have to reorder the way you think about modeling. Happy Zbrushing!
