I am not sure this is the right place to start a thread like this, but all the other sub-forums seem to be specified to be
not the one I was looking for, so…
I am planning on buying a new laptop, and it has to be a laptop out of mobility needs, and one of the things I’d like to do
with it is zBrush and other graphic softwares. I was wondering if there was anything to know about the particular needs of
zBrush when it comes to hardware (sorry if I am being ignorant here). I have about a 1200 (max. 1400) euro budget for this
new buy, and wanna make the right decision here. So, as already said, I’d hope it to be able to go 5 divisions down in
zBrush smoothly and also to do some decent painting work in photoshop and other softwares. Which is the one that I need to
focus on, graphic card or cpu? or the harddrive (I will go for SSD anyway, though). I mean, I know all of these matter, but if I have to sacrifice one for another, which should get more priority?
Any info would be appreciated!
