I got this monster printed. yay

Thanks Desmoda (ownage). This is probably only exciting for me because I struggled so much getting a handle on Maya and Zbrush. Old hat to most of you folks. I believe that I’m the only person in the world that HATED learning this stuff. Eveyone else seems to love it. Well thanks to everyone that answered my stupid newb questions along the way. Now that I can actually hold the physical work in my hand, I feel better about it. LOL

Looks great.

what kind of size is it? How did you go about making the cuts where the legs/arms join?

That is seven kinds of awesome! Are you going to paint it?

Looking great :):+1:
But you love it now, don’t ya?

So basically I think it’s really gay that this got moved. I thought I sculpted it in zbrush. Weird.

Turned out great!

looks good!! and why was this thread moved?

fantastic model man. great that you got it printed.

can we ask what size it is, and how much it all costed?

congrats again on the model

Yeah thanks. I’ve been encouraged by the positive reactions to this piece. I would love to know why my thread was moved though. The printed piece is 9 inches tall. the cost was 500$. Desmoda’s team keyed it for me in a few places. Legs, jaw, arms. They did a nice job cleaning the build lines off without losing too much detail. I definitely learned a lot and I’m planning my next one. Thanks

I know I’m waaay late commenting on this but…AWESOME JOB

Hats off to Desmoda and co…and nice sculpt Ehren. Keep 3d printing those beasts
