I can't Zremesh - why?

I created this sandbag. And I used Dynamesh for the High Res.
Now, I would like to Zremesh, and I would like to get also a low res mesh.

For some reason, Zbrush doesn’t allow me to Zremesh.

thanks for any little help!

Hello @FattyBull

One quick thing I notice. The palette that you’re open to is the legacy remesher. ZRemsher is located in Tool> Geometery> ZRemesher.

If ZRemesher is being used and wont return results without error, there is usually something problematic about the mesh, or the settings may be too ambitious. Try inverting the symmetry status for the mesh–if Symmetry is active, ZRemesher is forced to create symmetrical results. Sometimes you may be able to get non-symmetrical results, and then mirror the changes to the other side with Tool> Geometry> Modify Topology > Mirror and Weld.

If too many special settings are active, ZRemesher may simply not be able to complete the operation. For instance, Freeze Borders can be a complicated operation to use in conjunction with other optional features.

In addition, always check meshes that aren’t behaving as expected for issues with Tool> Geometry> Mesh Integrity> Check mesh.
