how we can creat text

can i creat text how i can do it i am new

ZBrush does not have a text tool. This will work though.

1- In Photoshop or similar make a square black background.
Make it large. I am using a 2048 x 2048 size in this example.

2- Type your text. If available use smooth aa on the text.
Save as a .psd, bmp or .tif (do not use a .jpg or you will get artifacts).
You will get best results with a 16 bit grayscale.

3 – Import as and alpha. Alpha>Import

4- Use the alpha pallete from the top bar not the bar at the side.
Set Mres and Mdep to the highest setting
(if your system will handle it – you may have to experiment)
You may also have to try different Msm (smooth) settings.
Decide if you want double sided or not.
This example is 440,000 polys or so.

5- Drag on the canvas to draw the tool.

ZBrush will do a good job but the poly count will be high
to get good results. Make sure you uncheck “quick”
up top and set the Display Properties > Dsmooth to 1.

Here is the result -

ZBrush Document.jpg

Not perfect but it will work.
The best is to use another program and import.
Many will create text.
I think Wings might and its free but I’m not sure.

Zbrush has no text functions.

You can do it in Wings 3d though (which is free), and import that into zbrush.

There’s also something called Elefont.

Other than converting an alpha directly into a 3D object, you could also use it as a mask (or stencil of course), invert it, and then sculpt the text or use deformers in order to achieve interesting text effects in combination with other objects.
