I can’t seem to find a single video or tutorial showing how Point Sel/Point Selection Mode works and or how to use it…
I was wondering if anyone could help me to better understand how to use this function please?
Ps. I tried testing it and don’t see a difference on or off.

As far as I can see, whether it’s on or off, it does the exact same thing. It’s probably one of those legacy features that at one time might have done something but is no longer necessary. Personally, I just ignore it.
Yeh I really tried to test it out but couldn’t find the difference…
Though I wonder if it is one of those features that cross talks/works with another button or feature and I need to press another button to get it to show a difference?
If it was, it would have mentioned it in the description.

For example if you want symmetry of whats visible aka “VCenter/V. Sym” to work you have to make sure “L. Sym” is on but the “Dynamic” text turned off like so:

Perhaps a Dev knows what it does and I’ll just email support on it to satiate my curiosity.
I’m using version 2022.0.8. I don’t have the “Dynamic” option on my L-Sym" button. which is why I didn’t help you with your last question.
@Spyndel might be able to give you a more definitive answer when he logs on.
As a side note, in case you didn’t know. If you want a description of what a button or slider does, hold your cursor over it and hold down Ctrl. This works on most but not all items.

ps. The Lsym/ Dynamic mention is just an example of two buttons needed to work together. Not a question!
