How to turn off 'Vote' when viewing non-creative images (screen snips)

Is there a way to disable the ‘VOTE’ overlay box from displaying on small, non-creative images?

For instance, here’s what I see when viewing small images I included in one of my posts:

All images in the Main forum get that button automatically. There isn’t a way to block it.

What you could do is edit the image to have extra space underneath it, allowing the button to display without blocking anything important.

Adjusted images, then reloaded. Button dimension is 36 pixels tall, so I added 40. Used RGB 51,51,51.

I reckon there’s a clever way to subtract the button from the extra space, rendering the VOTE button invisible, but that would be using time better spent ZBrushing.
