How to solve this topologic problem?

Hello everybody,

I sculpted a base mesh skull that I subdivided at level 4 to try to make texture (like traditional modeling). Then i separed the skull and the maxilla with Del lower button, mask, poly groups and split group. I closed the negative space with close holes button.

I have 3M of total points and now in the geometry palette, the Lower Res, SDiv, Del Lower are shaded buttons. First question: Am I in a lower résolution ? Because if I use Zremsher I’m SDiv level 3 with 44M of total points.

Second question: When I used close holes for the maxilla and the skull after separated them, now I don’t have the same topology ( red arrow in the green area). At last when I try to make a tooth that I forgotten, it’s terribly a mess ( the “a” arrow). How could I fix that ?

Someone told me how to solve it: activate Sculptris Pro mode and use the smooth brush to retopologize the zone ( an equivalent to the dynamesh button ( but concerning a specific area ).
