how to show my work?

Hi, while trying to post a recent project of mine, I stumbled acros a problem. Even when zipped, my image was two times as big as it can be to upload onto a post. Any Ideas of how to post my pic would be appreciated. Thanks.

David

Well, you need to change it to a jpg file and it should fit. It may not look as good as the original, but you’ll be able to post it. I’m still new at this, so I may not be much help.

Your image will either need to be saved as a .jpg or .gif file format. In some cases the compression quality may be need to be lowered a bit. The upload limit for images is 200k while the upload limit for files is 500k.

If you cant reduce the size of the image without lowering the quality too much. You better upload it on some free webspace , like homestead or something.
You can show your image by typing this
[img*]http://www.host.com/myimage.jpg[/img*]

without the “*”

ok maybe this is all a bit confusing :stuck_out_tongue:

quote:
The upload limit for images is 200,000k while the upload limit for files is 500,000k.

Make that 200K for images and 500K for files.

Winged One I suppose you meant bytes?

Oops.

I re-edited.

Now those would be some big files.
