How to select mulitple subtools?

How to select multiple subtools?

  • from the viewport
  • from the subtool tab

thx a lot

Hello @FattyBull ,

Selecting multiple subtools at the same time can only be done under certain circumstances, and the operations that can be applied to multiple subtools at the same time are limited. You cannot ever sculpt on multiple subtools at once.

To transform multiple subtools at once, enter move mode to activate Gizmo, and click on the “Transform all Selected Subtools” icon at the far right of the top row of Gizmo Icons. The following page describes how to select the subtools:

http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/modeling-basics/gizmo-3d/multiple-subtools/

If you have multiple subtools selected in this way, you can also create a new folder in the subtool menu containing only those tools. When you create the folder it will ask you if you want to make a folder from these tools. You can then transform all the subtools in that folder with the the “Transpose Set” function in the folder options.

Good luck!
