How to sculpt details between legs?

My model’s legs tend to be rather close, so how would I go about making them “open” a bit? I kept stretching the area when I moved them and I don’t want that. Is there a better way to do this or do I just have to spread them with Transpose Rotate?

Thanks!

did you try the move topo brush ? I tend to make separate polygroups to avoid this problem

I was thinking of making them sepreate poly groups. So I should try to make half the lower body one group, and the other half another (while leaving some ungrouped polys exactly in the middle)? If so, I’ll give that a shot.
Also, is it possible to texture and colour a UV map with just photoshop? I don’t know Maya really well.

Thanks for the response, by the way. I appreciate it

well i was thinking you create two polygroups one for the right and one for the left leg if you know what i mean… as for texturing you can do it inside zbrush with polypainting or using spotlight which is btw awesome.

well the best way i could think is the traspose rotate… and you can always store a morph target incase things get bad, so you could repair a few of the damages… but nomatter how bad it gets you should always be able to repair it in a few munites…Its only legs…but if you use masking and blur it properly im sure you wont have any problems

good luck anyway

Okay so I decided to group the legs separately. When I move the legs, her butt gets stretched a lot. Cause even when I move the legs, the polys in between are very “limited”. Hard to sculpt on. I appreciate the help though, any advice is awesome
