i am working on a charterer for my Game ready characters for my portfolio, , i have having a bit of trouble understanding this, you can see an example i found online that demonstrate roughly what i want to do,
basically, the character has a lot of accessories, chains , necklace…
how will i do the re topology on that, it can’t be the normal work flow that will need extreme details and ALOT of polygons, and probably be very heave for Clothing simulation ( apex cloth ) .
any advice would be amazing,

depends on how low poly you want to go, but you could probably get away with using an alpha map. the normal map will really sell that 3d look.
