How to restore default lighting?

I was messing around with the positioning of the light sphere and can’t get it back to the default setting. The light sphere is acting strange, I can’t seem to re-position the cursor it to where it was.

Is there a way to restore the default light setting? I noticed there is a “load” option. Is there a file for the default setting?

Hope this wasn’t too confusing.

Attached is a script that will reset your light to the default start up light.

Unzip the .zsc and the folder to this directory >
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush 4R7\ZStartup\ZPlugs64\

Then restart zbrush. In zbrush under Zplugin panel you will see a “E” panel where you should have a new button called “reset” that will reset your lights position to default.

You can also just re-initialize zbrush Preferences > Int Zbrush

Thanks E. The script won’t run for some reason but I did manage to reset it.

Odd, do you get an error?

Yeah, the error message said that the script can’t be loaded. Weird. Seems like a fantastic tool to have around. Should I try to put the files in the regular, non-64 Zplugs folder?

Can you post a screenshot of your “C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush 4R7\ZStartup\ZPlugs64” directory?

It should look similar to this

My apologies, the script I sent you had an error in it. Try this one.
