Hello. I have a problem:
I sculpt and when the brush edge hits the polygons which are separated from the desired area (but lying closer to the camera) brush then jumps there and continue sculpt. For example, if I sculpt riding inside of the mouth of the character and accidentally touch his lower lip or jaw (within one stroke), it continues to draw the brush is already there. No one knows how to avoid it, without the aid of masks, polygroup, splitting into subtools or hide parts of geometry?
P.S. Sorry for my english, it isn’t my native language =)
The only thing I can think of OTHER than the stuff you listed is BackFace Masking, and you will find this in the Brush menu under AutoMasking. This won’t prevent it from jumping to things you accidently sculpt but its as close as you are going to get without hiding or masking stuff. BackFace mask keeps your brush sculpting only the polygons facing you, or rather visible from where you are looking.
Noot perfect, but it could help.
