Hello all,
I 've been trying to search for any tutorial related to

how to paint smdge brush(2.5d) on polypainting out of projection master?

I’m not sure you need a tutorial for this. It’s very straight-forward.


  1. Polypaint your model.
  2. Click Projection Master
  3. Turn the Fade option on or off, depending on your needs.
  4. Drop the model.
  5. Select the Blur brush. Its default settings will blur color, only.
  6. Use the brush on your model to blur where necessary.
  7. Click Projection Master and pick the model up again.

Blur PolyPaint in Edit Mode by using the Smooth Brush, set Rgb on, Zadd off…

The Rgb Intensity slider adjusts the strength of the blur. It does a beautiful job of blending color on polypainted meshes. :smiley:

[edit: further thoughts - if you really want to explore in depth what brushes can do when polypainting, you should experiment with all of the settings available in the lower half of the Brush Menu. There are some extraordinary things in there.]
