How to paint on 3D object ?

hello zees

I´m new in here, working with zbrush for 3-4 days. I´m completely mad about so much informations in quicklinks, tutorials, manuals and other “s” and I still cannot find main point of painting on 3D objects.

I made this object with zspheres (picture), than turn it to mesh with Unified skin.

  1. How can I change for example the color of its hand to blue and torso color to green ?

  2. When I paint on it with simple brush tool, it goes well, but then I need to rotate object and colorize it from the back.
I try to mark it (M+), but when I try to enter edit mode (click on small arrow that appears on the object) it simply created a new object with main color.

Please, can anybody give me link or better realy easy help HOW TO PAINT ON 3D OBJECTS while they stay editable ?

thankx a lot my dear friends !

Hi Zoom
I think that you must use Texture Master
It’s the essential of Zbrush !
Look at the Demo inside the program !
And go there
A tut by Ken B you will know all about texturisation and modeling
(with only one sphere  (useful for the head
When you modelise with Zsphere
you can colorise and get material on each
see the tut inside the prog
Have happy Zbrushing

Hi!
Check out here:
Why Can’t I Edit My Object Anymore?

and then download (unless you already have) texture master.
With texture master you can drop your object, paint a side, pick it back up (editable) and repeat.
Hope this helps!

edit: looks like some1 got here b4 me…o well maybe ill still be of some use.

3D Copy!
