How to make rock like shaders

Hello , I have been playing around with zbrush for a lot of time. I have got the basics but i still cannot make a good looking realistic rock like material or granite , sandstone and any other kind of rock like material with realistic corrosion . I still get reflection in many shaders any ideas?

For eg i made this gargoyle model it is to be used as a carved rock on some building as you can see it aint so realistic material:mad:

Hi Mansa

I use Froyds Natural wood textures, and adjust them accordingly. you can mix them together to get moss like effects.

MaterialPack2 also has several materials that can easily be adjusted to look like stone.

This thread has alot of materials…Jotajota and Jantim contributed some great stone materials as well as many other folks. Check em out.

Froyds material is AMAZING, even for rocks.

slightly modified naturalwood4 by froyd.
and adjusted light from Mahlikus the black.
naturalwood is too big, see his post for download  but the lighting I could include if it helps…(if it worked)

Hey Thanks that is close to what i waslooking for no doubt floyds materials are good but this was what i was looking for
