How to make it perfect flat

Hello, I need to make a base of my model perfect flat however I tried different methods with no satisfying effect. Some of the clip or trim brushes actually work but they push topology to the sides what I would prefer to avoid. The new KnifeCurve brush is great but somehow it has no effect here maybe the model is too dense I’m not sure. Also tried to use the deformation flatten tool which also works but in addition, pushes topology to sides.

I just tried the Knife brush on a 77M polysphere (quads) and 38M polysphere (tris). Worked fine in both cases.

Perhaps there are problems with your mesh (non-manifold). Try running Geometry:MeshIntegrity Check & Fix before cutting.
