How to have custom brushes always use alpha saved with them, not last alpha used

I made some custom brushes, for example a Standard brush that I added a square alpha to.
I then saved this brush from the brush pallet. Upon a fresh start of Zbrush, when I click on my custom brush it loads up with the alpha I specified for it. But if I switch to another alpha then close the brush, next time I choose that brush It has the last alpha used attached to it. Any way to have the brushes always auto reset to their designated alphas?

I’m afraid ZBrush will always remember the alpha with the brush like that. You can either switch brushes before selecting an alpha - pick a brush you won’t be using for sculpting. Or you can use the Reset All Brushes button at the bottom of the Brush palette which will restore your brush.
