How to get regular stripes?

Hello! I try to sculpt regular micro stripes on a mesh in PM.
I can make few: drawing a line, snapshoot it and slide it several time.

But first of all its not precisely spaced, secondly its take long time to finish…

Does one of you has a good plan to it fastly?

I think I’d make up an alpha/texture with as many stripes as you want on it, then use drag rec stroke in PM to paint the texture and scale the stroke to suit.

Or, UV map your model (cylindical should be easy), make a texture specifically for that map with the stripes on it, convert the texture to an alpha, make a mask from the alpha and then use negative inflate to get the grooves.

EDIT:
Actually, it’s been a wee while since I used ZB - is it possible to use the info slider to position strokes?

you can use a the grid stroke in PM with a single stripe like alpha:

Increase the vertical Subdivide of the cylinder…and use the Tool/masking/row + Inflat negative
Le choix est vaste
But it’s not inside PM :o

Ok I’m gonna try with a custom alpha…
But I hoped there as a way to move my stroke with a regular ofset…
