I’m trying to use troso from IMM body parts as base mesh for something but, sadly I can not use it as a tool, I tried drawing it on a cube and the deleting the cube, but the object is a little bit tilted and eventhough I can use L-sync it’s a little bit frustrating to work on a tilted object is there any way to fix the pivot to exact center? dabling in the prview is of no use since I can only guess and I cant get the exact postion
Hold shift while drawing out the torso - drag from top to bottom. This should draw it straight.
Then after deleting other subtools, you can unify it to center it.
Also in Geometry > Position, you can set x and z to 0
dragging it from top to bottom that’s where it went wrong,I drew it diagonally that made it tilt Thank you so much
quick question, you need to draw it on some other object right ? there isn’t any other way draw it individually right? just making it sure
Yeah… in my example, I drew it on a sphere.
As soon as it’s drawn out, I went to: Subtool > Split > Split unmasked points… This puts it in its own subtool.
Unify is in the Tool > Deformation palette
thank you I did it like that first but later I found a better way, instead of splitting stuff putting different subtool and then deleting it, I simply ctrl+shift and dragged around the cube (my base object )then I used ‘delete hidden’ option
Hope this helps
Heheh… forgot about that button- and I know I’ve used it. :o
Wow thank you
