How to export-imprt from object from XSI to ZBrush and from Zbrush to XSI???

I’ve been exporting to OBJ files. And then using Blender to convert to various formats. And then back. I always wonder if someone has an automated pipeline like this. As soon as Zbrush has an SDK, this will be a thing of the past.

so from xsi to blender to zbrush and back to xsi??
isnt there any plugin??

Just DXF and OBJ for now from ZBrush. Threre is a network project called Verse that is trying to connect everything to a network pipeline. It instantly displays what you are working on from Blender to Maya and back again in realtime. As soon as ZBrush has some SDK documentation, it could be extended for ZBrush. So you could be animating in Maya and make some ZBrush geometry changes on another computer and it would instantly update in Maya.

I wonder if the CustomDisplayHost in XSI will be able to do that. It would be cool to have zbrush running in one of the viewports in xsi and be editing back and forth between the two packages without the export process.
