Hello,
I want to place folds, which I create with an alpha, very exact on a mesh.
I have at least to rotate them and place them.
At the moment I don’t find the right brush mode, how to control it.
With the drag rect I can’t move them. I remember that there was with the space bar a hotkey to move something after creation, but spacebar seems only to move my canvas.
The drag dot let’s me move my alpha over the mesh, but rotates them without precise control.
When I have the right spot to place my alpha and rotation is wrong, I have again to move my brush tip away.
I am missing (like in Photoshop) a ability to rotate my brush tip. Modify Alpha gives me a lot controls, but not such a basic like rotation by number field.
Is there also a mode, where I can preview my brush tip (instead of only a circle)?
Is there a different workflow recommended, to get more precision?
Thanks!
EDIT:
I tried now also the stencil. But this works not good with such thin narrow alphas. If I don’t start brushing in an unmasked area (which is hard to find), the brush doesn’t work at all with a stencil. So often it is doing nothing and then randomly way too much, depending from the pixel, where the brush started.

Here I am missing an option, to fade out my last brush (just like with layers). From 20 strokes only one is hardly useful.

The stencil should not block the brush, when you start at a masked area)
And still interested, if anyone knows answers to the brush alpha. I’m often looking for it…
Thx
